ANSWER:-
Fossil fuels are considered non-renewable resources and consist of coal, oil, and natural gas. They release carbon dioxide, a potent greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere when burned. Greenhouse gases trap heat from the sun in the Earth's atmosphere, causing temperatures to rise.

Here is your answer:
Actually fossil fuels are not destroying our planet.
Humans are actually destroying because practically humans are misusing fossils.
Humans are burning fossil fuel to provide energy and for generating power.
This results in the release of harmful gases like :
- Carbon-dioxide
- Sulphur di oxide
These gases are responsible for causing global warming and greenhouse effect.
These effects cause devastating consequences to life in Earth.
For instance they increase temperature of the Earth and results in melting of ice, cyclones and climate change and many more undesirable effects.
Hope you got your answer.
Have a nice day:-)
