Answer:

Water changes into water vapour in two major ways

  • By evaporation of surface water from water bodies by the heat of sun, and
  • By the process of transpiration in plants.

The water vapours rise in the sky, and condense as water droplets suspended in the air. They mix with dust, sand and other suspended particles in the air, coming close together and forming a heavy mass, called cloud.

Extra information:

The clouds, after being saturated with water droplets begin to precipitate.

The water from them again flows back to the streams and water bodies, thus completing and continuing the water cycle.
