Explain how water gets boiled in paper cup without burning it.

Well, it's a very simple theory , When we boil water in a paper cup , The paper doesn't burn because , The water in the cup absorbs the heat and doesn't let the paper to reach to it's flash point and an object doesn't starts burning until it reaches it's flash point. So, Paper doesn't Burns and water also boils.

It is observe that it is possible to boil water without burning the paper cup. This is due to the reason that he heat given by the flame is quickly transferred from the paper cup to the water. As a result the temperature if the paper does not reach the ignition temperature and hence is not burned.
