1x²-1x-1 = 0
this is from like ax²+ bx +c = 0 so
a = 1 b = -1 c = -1
using Shridhar's law
(+-) means plus or minus
x = -b+-√b²-4ac/ 2a
x = -(-1)+-√(-1)²-4(1)(-1)/2(1)
x = 1+-√1+4/2
x = 1+-√5/2
x = 1+√5/2. OR. x = 1-√5/2
