Make holes A,B and C near it's every edge .Fix a nail through one of it's edge.
So that the object can move freely.
The object will come to rest with it's centre of gravity, just vertically below the nail.
Vertcal line A can be located using a plumbline hung from the nail.
Mark the line on that behind the plumbline.
Repeat this process by supporting the card from B.
The line B should intersect with line A at G point.
Similarly draw another line from point C .
It should also pass from G.
It will be found that vertical lines from A,B and C have a common point G.
THIS POINT IS THE CENTRE OF GRAVITY.

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER

⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

  1. Consider 3 points A B and C.
  2. Fix a nail through one of its point
  3. Vertical line A can be located using a plumb line hung from the nail.
  4. Mark the line on that behind the plumb line
  5. Repeat this process by supporting the card from B.
  6. The line B should intersect with line A at G point.
  7. Similarly draw another line from point C.(it should also pass from G)

IT WILL BE FOUND THAT THE VERTICAL LINES FROM A B and C have a common point G .

THIS POINT IS THE CENTRE OF GRAVITY.
