Detailed Description of Human Eye
- Human Eye
The Human eye works on the reflection of light through a transparent living material which enable us to see the object .
- Cornea
The Front part of the eye is called Cornea. It is made up of a transparent Substance and bulging outward. The outer surface is convex in shape.
- Iris
It is situated just behind the cornea . It is coloured diaphragm . It has black coloured ring shaped membrane. It gives colour to the eye . Most of the Indians eyes are black or Brown.
- Pupil
It is a black hole situated between Iris .The Pupil appears black because no light is reflected from it. This control the amount of light entering into the eye if Light is bright then Pupil will compressed while in deep light The pupil will relaxed.
- Ciliary Muscles
These are attached to the islands and roid iBall full stop its change the thickness of eye lens while focusing. The focal length of the islands can be changed by change in its shapes, by action of these muscles.
- Eye Lens
It is a convex lens made of transparent soft and flexible material like jelly e made up of proteins. It held in the position by suspensory ligament , One end of this ligament is attached to the eye lens and their other end is attached to the ciliary muscles.
- Retina
The screen in which the image is formed in the eye lens is called it enough to stop it is behind eye lens and at the Black part of the eye. The retina of an eye just like a film in the camera. It is very delicate membrane having a large number of light sensitive cells .
- Blind Spot
it is a small area of retina which is insensitive to light where optic nerve leave the eye.
