Answers
blood throughout the body via the
circulatory system, supplying oxygen and
nutrients to the tissues and removing
carbon dioxide and other wastes. ... "If [the
heart] is not able to supply blood to the
organs and tissues, they'll die."
:
Located is thoracic cavity in chest region between both lungs and slightly titled to left.
Heart is a mesodermally derived organ located in mediastinum protected by double layered pericardium.
In it pericardial fluid is present it reduce friction between heart walls and tissue and protect heart from outer shodes
The heart is four chamber two upper auricle and two lower ventricle .the walls of ventricles is thicker than auricle.
The auricle are separated by an inter auricle septum and ventrical septum by inter ventricular septum
Its weight is 280-340 gm in male and 230-280 gm in female and size like feast of hand .
In right side deoxegenated blood is supply and in left side oxygenated blood is supply.
Septum help in presents mixing of blood .Study of circulatory system is called Angiology. First studied by well Harvey.
Heart values :
A] Tricuspid value :
• Formed of three mascular flaps or cups , which guard the opening between right atrium and right ventricle .
B] Biscuspid value :
• Formed of two mascular flaps , which guard the opening between left atrium and left ventricle.
C] Semilunar value :
• Present at opening of right and left ventricle and allow entry of blood into pulmonary auricle and aorta
• Present backward flow of blood
Role of Chambers of heart :
• Upper right chamber collects blood from body.
• Lower right chamber pumps blood to lungs
• Upper left chamber receives blood from lungs
• Lower left chamber push blood to body
Blood circulation :
Short type question for Answer =>
• The right atrium receives carbon dioxide rich blood from body.
• Blood from right atrium then enters the right ventricle which contract and pump the blood to the lungs
• From lungs , oxygenated blood returns to left atrium.
• From left atrium , blood enters left ventricle
• Left ventricle contracts and pumps the blood to all parts of body .
