Reproduction is the biological process by which the offspring or a new individual organism is oroduced from parents. When the sperm fertilizes an egg cell , a zygote is formed . The zygote possesses the Dna of each of it's two parents .The zygote begin to divide by mitosis to produce an embryo. Embryogenesis includes the first eight weeks of development and at the beginning of the ninth week the embryo is termed as fetus . A pregnancy normally lasts for nine months or thirty eight weeks.
