In certain plants, pollination takes place completely underwater.
Because plants are aquatic so that their pollination is adapted to such conditions. This is known as hydrophily and this type of plant called hydrophilic plants.
• Hydrophily pollination divided into two categories 1) Surface pollination and 2) Submerged pollination
• For example, Vallisneria Spiralis is an example of surface pollination.
• Najas include submerged hydrophily pollination.
• The hydrophilic plants are found in a diversity of habitats.
• Two-dimensional pollination saw only in hydrophilic plants.
