Answer:
- Preparation of soil :- Soil is prepared before sowing the seeds. The soil is loosened to increase the absorption of water and manures. Loosening of soil particles adds humus and nutrients in the soil that increases crop yields. Tilling or loosening the soil is done by ploughs which are pulled by a pair of bull .
2. Sowing :- Sowing is the process of planting. An area or object that has had seeds planted in it will be described as a sowed area.
3. Adding manure and fertilizer :- The substances which are added to the soil in the form of nutrients for the healthy growth of plants are called manure and fertiliseres. It is important to add manure and fertiliseres to the soil because in some places the soil as less nutrients for crops because the farmers grow crops after a crop in the same field.
4. Irrigation :- Irrigation is the artificial process of applying controlled amounts of water to land to assist in production of crops. Irrigation helps to grow agricultural crops, maintain landscapes, and revegetate disturbed soils in dry areas and during periods of less than average rainfall.
5. Protecting from weeds :-Weeds can be controlled in many ways. Weed management includes land preparation, water management, hand weeding, hand hoeing, crop rotation, and herbicides. Land preparation helps in the removal of seeds and uprooting of weeds before sowing of seeds of the main crop.
6. Storage :- the state of being kept in a place when not being used : the state of being stored somewhere.
7. Harvesting :- Harvesting is the process of removal of entire plants or economic parts after maturity. The economic product may be grain, seed leaf, root or entire plant. The remaining portion of the stem that is left on the field after harvest is known as stubble.
