The heart is undoubltely the most important organ of our body which is specialised in pumping blood from lungs to it and then to different parts of our body.

DIFFERENT PARTS OF HEART ARE......

1. LEFT/RIGHT AURICLE -
---------------------------------
☆ They are specialised in pumping blood within the heart.

☆ The left auricle is associated with the acception of the oxygenated blood from the lungs and its pumping within the heart and the right auricle is associated with the acception of deoxygenated blood and its pumping within the heart.

2. LEFT AND RIGHT VENTRICLE -
----------------------------------------------
☆They are specialised in pumping blood out of the heart to rest of the body.

☆ The right ventrical is associated with pumping of deoxygenated blood out of hreat to lungs through pulmonary artery and left ventrical is associated with pumping of blood out of the heart to different body parts through pulmonary veins.

3. VEINS -
--------------
☆ They are specialised in transporting deoxygenated blood from heart to different body parts and bringing oxygenated blood from lungs to heart(pulmonary veins) .

☆They have a thin wall.

☆ They have a valve in order to ensure that blood flow in one direction only.

☆ Pulmonary vein is an exception to veins.

4. ARTERY -
----------------
☆They specialised in carrying oxygenated blood from different body parts and carrying deoxygenated blood from heart to lungs( pulmonary artery).

☆They have a thick wall.

☆Valve is absent.

☆Pulmonary artery is exception to arteries.

5. AORTA-
--------------
☆ The aorta is the largest artery in the body.

☆ The heart pumps blood from the left ventricle into the aortathrough the aortic valve.

6. VENA CAVA -
-----------------------
☆In humans these veins are respectively called the superior and inferior venae cavae.

☆ The inferior vena cava is a large vein that carries de-oxygenated blood from the lower body to the heart.

☆ It carry deoxygenated blood from the systemic circulation to the right atrium of the heart.

FUNCTIONS OF HEART ARE...

1. Pump blood to different part of our body.

2. Provide oxygen to each and every part of our body.

3. Transportation of nutrients.

4. Hormones to cells throughout the body.

5. Removal of metabolic wastes.

MECHANISM OF HEART...

First of all heart in human is four chambered, so let it begins....

☆The deoxygenated blood from from right auricle enters the heart and then it reaches to the right ventricle when the auricle contracts and ventricle relaxes to accept blood through triscuspid valve present in between of them so as to ensure that blood does not flow back in auricles.

☆ After that deoxygenated blood travel to lungs through pulmonary artery for oxygenation.

☆Blood after oxygenation are taken back to the heart by pulmonary veins and enter the heart in left auricle, there the auricle firsr relaxes and then contracts so that the blood can easily move to left ventricle through bicuspid valve.

☆From left ventricle the oxygenated blood is taken to different parts of the body through arteries and then after all the part get oxygen , th deoxygenated blood id taken back to heart by veins.

☆In this way the heart perform its pumping duty.

☆And this in human beings is known as double circulation as the same blood passes twice through the heart.
