b) Oscillatory Motion- An object that moves from its mean position in a to and fro motion is called oscillatory motion.

Eg: The motion of the swing.

c) Circular Motion - An object moving on a circular or round path is called circular motion. Eg: The Earth rotates around the sun in a circular path.

d) Random Motion- An object moving on its own in any direction randomly is called random motion. Eg: A flying butterfly.

e) Periodic Motion- It is the repeated motion in equal interval of time. Eg: A rocking chair.
