In a song in Wake up Sid, Ranbir Kapoor and his friends are shown celebrating post exams. They party and eat out. But there is one scene where the audience gets the sense of their freedom. It is when Kapoor rises through the sunroof of his car, opens his arms and feels the wind in his hair.

Today, it is a common sight to see kids looking out of the sunroof of their vehicles (not a good idea, by the way). But a sunroof is more than just an exquisite feature of a car. "It permits just the right amount of fresh air and sunshine to make driving enjoyable," says Joe King, head, Audi India. "It improves interior climate by means of efficient ventilation while reducing the draughts."

The automaker recently custom built an Audi A8L Extended, a 6.36 m sedan, for an European customer. It had three sunroofs, one for each row of seats.
