- Machines have integrated themselves into our daily lives and now play a prominent role in our society. We have almost completely substituted all previous forms of communication, transportation, and other aspects of our society with the creation of newer, more industrial methods and apparatuses.
- Generally, there are six classes of simple machines. They are the lever, pulley, screw, wheel and axle, inclined plane and wedge. A lever is a simple machine and one of the tools used in the olden days. It has a pivot or fulcrum on which a load is being moved with the exertion of force.
