Tourism is the fastest growing industry in the world. More than 1 billion people are travelling across the globe for their different purposes such as leisure, pleasure, education, adventure, business etc.
Instead of just a travel, tourism also contributing its benefits towards society, culture and economy of a region.
National integration is a such kind socio- cultural impact of tourism in a country. Tourism facilitates a kind of cultural interaction between the guest and host, where people from different regions can get to know each other about their life style, culture, cuisine, festivals etc. and maintaining a close relationship between the people from far regions. For example, the country like India having diversified large areas and people, better they are called as 'diversified country'. Their culture, life style, language,, festivals etc. are quiet different from one place to another. For that, the unification is not as simple, where tourism playing a vital role in their national integration.
