a . can not understand the question
b . the amount of energy needed by a solid object to change its state to liquid is called latent heat of fusion ( a bit similar to latent heat of vapourisation )
when body has more energy which gives it more space in between the atom . the far the atom are the odject is liquid if more it is solid.
c. distilation is the mixturuture of evaporation and condensation to remove the impurities and both are same but in fractional distialation u can extract the different compound with difference of 25 degree celcius .of boiling points .
eg alchol have a boiling point of 78.5 degree celcius and water with 100 degree celcius .
they can only be seperated by frac. dis. not by only dis. this becuaase in the pic .
