Answer:

Costa Rican approach to Health programs

Explanation:

The Costa Rican approach to health programs asserts that the healthcare system should be continuously improved. It is made possible by buying new hospital pieces of equipment; building new hospitals; and developing staff training. The Costa Rican government created two healthcare systems for its citizens, namely the public and private healthcare systems. The first system, known as Costarricense de Seguro social (Caja)  deals with public health care matters. This system is structured to offer services to all citizens of Costa Rica, including the uninsured. It further plays a significant role in the country’s national health policymaking.

Secondly, it is the private health care sector, which is affordable and offers high quality services to the legal residents of Costa Rica. The government facilitated this by setting up three major private hospitals where citizens can seek medical services. Patients either pay cash or use insurance, for instance, health insurance from Instituto de Seguro Nacional (INS) was made available for citizens affiliated with hospitals and pharmacies in the private sector.

Explanation:  Costa Rica Program of health approach

Costa Rica has developed to expand health coverage for the poor and other vulnerable groups, with an emphasis on its approach to primary health care. Universal health coverage in Costa Rica is provided through a single national health insurance program. This program, which protects the poor without the pitfalls of a fragmented system, and the sustained policies that have enabled the building of a solid primary health care system, is broadly recognized as a success story. At the same, time new challenges are emerging to sustaining the success of Costa Rica's universal health coverage.
