1)On 11th march 1930 mahatma gandhi stated the famous march whose name was Dandi march(Salt March) with 78 unpaid workers.

2)This march contains 240 miles from Sabarmati to gujarati coastal of Dandi.

3)Gandhiji and unpaid workers reached dandi on 6th April 1930 and after that the unpaid workers broke the rule of making salt from the sea water.

4)This incident gives a major starting of civil disobedience movement.
