The Union Legislature , also known as the Parliament of India is the supreme legislative body of the Republic of India. It consists of the President and two Houses - Rajya Sabha (Council of States ) and Lok Sabha (House of the People).
Lok Sabha has a strength of 545 including the 2 nominees from the Anglo-Indian Community, nominated by the President, and 245 in Rajya Sabha including the 12 nominees from the expertise of different fields of science, culture, art and history.
