How should we behave with our guest?

understand that if you have a guest, they are in your presence to be friendly towards you, harming or hurting visitors would just trigger them to realise you’re not a not someone worth spending time to assist, converse and perhaps even be under the decision of ensuring you’re someone they should protect.

Our guests are to be treates more than anything valuable to us. We exist only through others. Therefore others are very important for our personal existence.

When somebody comes to us as a guest it is the best opportunity to celebrate our own existence through them.

When no guests come to us, our life will be dry and meaningless.

How I behave with my guests:

Welcome them warmly with a smile and a nice to see you.

Inquire about their job/studies/day.

Offer tea, if they say no, offer anything else to drink, later offer bowl of chocolates and sweets.

Sit down with your guests.

Entertain your guests with anything interesting, like…a (barely interesting) story about what happened with that hobo who took up residence near the street they just passed, or politics, or…smalltalk or something.

Ask them about future plans for the holiday or weekend.

Show them where the bathroom is, walk them to the gate when they need to leave, thank them for visiting.

The way you would like others to behave with you as their guest :)

Be welcoming.

Give them the attention instead of browsing through your phone in their presence.

Offer refreshments.

Engage in a conversation.

Listen.

Wish you a victorious week!

Depends on why the guest show up.

If they are there for a fancy dinner, you should act fancy.

If they are there for a mud fight, I would say acting fancy is not called for.

If they are rude or act as if they are better than you because of their lineage or amount of wealth, then I would suggest you act outraged. Perhaps question the lineage of the matrons in their family. Ask them if the attitudes came with the money or did they have those first. I would also suggest that you do anything in your power to make sure they never want to return.

Rude people do not deserve the honor of being around good people.

All of this advice should be ignored if treating this person this way will end with death, dismemberment, or incarceration.

We should great them at the Door

We should not ask them to take off their shoes

We should ask them if the want any thing to drink

We should talk about their intrest

We should feed them a warm meal and send them home

Smile and good buy them

Once a guest came to my house to spend some time together with us and that was my aunt from London.

  • It was my winter break when she decided to come over to spend some memorable time with us, it had been quite a while since we had bonfires in our backyard.
  • I had taken my aunty around the house to show her the new interiors that were newly added to my house.
  • My backyard also had a new trampoline in which we had a wonderful time playing and jumping.
  • The best part was when we had dinner together, it had been a while since all the members of my family had sat and had dinner together therefore we made amazing memories together.
