I think P(x) = acx²+ ( ab -c²)x -bc
now,
acx² + (ab - c²)x - bc
= acx² + abx - c²x - bc
= ax ( cx + b) - c ( cx + b)
=( ax - b)( cx+ b)
hence, p(x ) = (ax - b) ( cx + b)
for zero ,
P(x ) = 0
then,
x = b/a and -b/c
2) x³ -3x² +2x =0
= > x( x² -3x +2)
=> x( x -2)( x -1)
x(x -1)(x -2) =0
x = 0, 1 and 2
3) p( y) =7 y² -11y/3 -2/3
for finding of roots
7y² -11y/3 -2/3 =0
