In 1906, Gandhi came up with the idea of Satyagraha, which means'insistence on truth using non-violent non-cooperation'. Literally, this means struggle or endeavour (agraha) for the truth (satya). … or, the truth, the refusal do harm to others, and willingness for self-sacrifice in the cause.
