The burglary, in early November, saw several valuable items and cash taken from a property on Bellhouse Road.
Since then, police have tried to find Antonio Anderson (pictured), 41, in connection with the incident.
Mr Anderson also uses the named Leroy Campbell and Marcus Campbell, as well as sometimes using different dates of birth to make himself 42, South Yorkshire Police say.
His last known address was in Rotherham, but officers believe he could have travelled within South Yorkshire.
Police say they've conducted "extensive inquiries" to find him, including multiple visits to addresses connected to him, as well as financial inquiries and vehicle checks.
The force believes Mr Anderson is aware he is wanted.
Anybody who has seen him is being asked to get in touch with the South Yorkshire force.
