• Increasing Friction

We know that the soles of our shoes are grooved. Also, the tyres of cars and trucks are treaded. It is because doing such things, provides better grip with ground. It is known as increasing friction. We increase friction by using brakes in cycle, car, motorbikes. When playing Kabaddi, players rub their hands with soil to get better grip. The same can be seen in Kushti too.
