EXPLAIN INDUCTIVE ND RESONANCE ORGANIC ??
✏✏Polarity developed in carbon chain due to the charge shifting of sigma bond electron by the group or atom present on carbon chain is known as inductive effect. ... In organicchemistry resonance is a way of describing delocalized electrons within molecules where the bonding cant b expressed by one single lewis formula.

Inductive effect occurs in Sigma bonds. When an electron withdrawing or electron donating group is attached to an carbon chain then these group polarize the chain and inductive effect happens upto four carbon atoms and is distance dependent.
Resonance is delocalisation of pi bonds in conjugation that means pi bonds should be in plane and present alternatively. Resonance can also occur between one lone pair and one pi bond.
