when when we heat candle it starts melting and when we cool the heated wax again it forms wax as this is a physical process.

◆ Interconversion of states -

Melting -

  • When solid wax candle is heated, it melts to liquid state.

Evaporation -

  • When liquid wax around tip is heated some more, it gets converted to vapour.

Solidification -

  • Liquid wax on the side when cools off, it gets converted to solid state.

Sublimation -

  • Solid wax is directly converted to vapour form by the process of sublimation.
