INTERMOLECULAR FORCE :

⏭️ Intermolecular force are the force which act between the molecules of an element.Every molecule or an atom exerts a force of attraction or repulsion on the nearby parties. This force is generally known as the intermolecular force. The intermolecular force is responsible for the bonding of an element. Intermolecular force is responsible for the different states of matter like solid, liquid or gas.

⏭️ There are two types of intermolecular force which are attractive force and repulsive force. The force of attraction is generally called attractive force. It is also called Van der waals force. There are also many types of intermolecular forces like London dispersion force, dipole-dipole interaction, and ion-dipole interaction etc.

⏭️ The investigation of intermolecular forces starts from macroscopic observations.

⏭️ Attractive intermolecular forces are categorized into the following types:

➡️ Hydrogen bonding

➡️ Ionic bonding

➡️ Ion–induced dipole forces

➡️ Ion–dipole forces

➡️ van der Waals forces

Explanation:

intermolecular forces are the forces which meditate interaction b/w atoms, including forces of attraction or reputation which act b/w atoms and other type of neighboring particles .

e.g.:- atoms or ions intermolecular force are weak related to intramolecular forces ....
