The fairly positive hydrogen on one HFmolecule will be attracted to one of these lone pairs on a nearby HFmolecule. This is a hydrogen bond.Hydrogen bonds are attractions between a δ+ hydrogen on one molecule and a lone pair on a very electronegative atom (N, O or F) on another molecule.

HF is a polar molecule. Hence the primary inter molecular forces would be dipole - dipole and hydrogen bond which is a special type of dipole - dipole interaction between the hydrogen atom and electronegative F atom. CF4 has a tetrahedral structure. It is non-polar molecule
