explain intestinal gland and there functions

Intestinal glands are the glands present in the small intestines. They secrete intestinal juice and mucus. The intestinal juice contains enzymes like peptidase, sucrose, maltose, lactase and intestinal lipase which help in digestion and mucus creates basic environment.
