When metal get oxygen and water, after some days rust is obtained on the surface of metal i.e. iron. Galvanisation is the process of coating of thin layer of zinc over metal surface which provide protection to metal like iron for not to come in contact with oxygen and water which prevents rusting on the metal or iron.
