Isobaric process : The isobaric process is a process that takes place at the constant pressure (p = Constant, dp = 0). The differential of enthalpy per unit mass for an isobaric process, obtained from the definition (9.19), is given by. An everyday example of an isobaric process is boiling water in an open container. By supplying heat energy to the water, it rises in temperature and turns into steam. The steam obtained has a higher temperature and occupies a greater volume, however, the pressure remains constant.
