==========================================================
now we will discuss its function one by one
==================================
1.hypothalamus: it is the part of human fore brain and its function is to secrete various regulating hormones.the secretion may also be inhibitory for example somatosatin
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.pituitary: it releases various hormones like oxytocin,growth hormone etc that are necessry for human growth and devolpment
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.thyroid: The function of the thyroid gland is to take iodine, found in many foods, and convert it into thyroid hormones:thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). Thyroid cells are the only cells in the body which can absorb iodine.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.adrenal gland:it is located at posterior side of kidney and releases glucocoticoids and minrelocorticoids required for better metabolic processes. it also gets activated at time of fear,fight and flight
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.gonads:male gonads are known as testes and female gonads are called ovaries. their function is to maintain primary and secondary sex characters. these release testosterone in males and estrogen and progesterone in females.
