Aku111111: explain deeply
RiteshKumarDas: 273 K is 0 °C. When ice melts it takes some extra amount of heat, which is called the latent heat of melting. Then it converts to water, at 0 C. In case of water at 0 °C, this extra withdrawal of heat as latent heat is absent. Therefore, for cooling, ice at 273 K is more effective than water at the same temperature, as it is able to withdraw more heat from the surrounding.
