I think you are facing difficulty regarding this construction.
Explanation
- Draw a circle of radius 5 cm
- Now you know that if you draw radius to two tangents then it's gonna be 90°.
- It's already given that angle between tangents should be 60°.
- So 60° + 90° + 90° + ∅ = 360°
- ∅ = 120°
- Means the two radius which you will draw should make angle 120° with each other.
I have done this construction for you :-)
Steps of Construction :-
- Drawn randomly a radius OA
- Then drawn angle AOB of 120°
- Drawn perpendiculars at A and B
- The point where tangents intersect is named as P of angle 60°
