Jhumming cultivation is also known as shifting cultivation. It is a type of cultivation in which the trees of an area are cut and then that area is burnt. Then the ashes are mixed with soil properly and the people start cultivating crops on that land.
Then this land is abandoned after cultivation and people go in search of another new land and this process repeats.
This is not advantageous due to following:
1) Soil will lose its fertility.
2) This can lead to deforestation.
3) There maybe a chance of soil erosion.
Hope this helps you and you can mark this as Brainlist.
