Joule's Law of Heating :

It states that heat produced by a conductor is directly proportional

-- to the square of electric current flow through it. (I)

-- to the resistance of the conductor. (R)

-- to the time during which the current flows through the circuit. (t)

When we pass the current in a wire then the wire develop a electric current and wire is heated this effect is known as Heating effect or joule heating .
