⏩ Keratinized ⏪
⏩ It is found in skin epidermis lower most layer is Stratum Germinatium containing divider collar cells.
⏩ Upper layer Undergo Keratinization.
⏩ Startum Spongiosum consist of Somewhat Flat cells bearing Spongy Cytoplasm. These Cells are Attached with each other Interdigitations Cell Junctions which Provide Mechanical Strength to epidermis.
⏩ In Startum Granulosum Cytoplasm bear small granules due to more Keratinization.
⏩ In Stratum Lucidum Cytoplasm is dried up and Modified in the form of Striped which is called eleidins.
⏩ Upper most layer is Stratum Corneum Containing 12 - 13 layers of DeaD Cells. In Stratum Corneum Cells become dead due to Highest Keratinization.
⏩ Stratum Cornea in skin Epidermis is Present as a Protective Covering all around the body. It prevent loss of water from the body and also prevent entry of foreign Particles.

Howdy, buddy!
keratinized means to take on the appearance of keratin, or become impregnated or infused with keratin.
The process by which vertebrate epithelial cells become packed with keratin protein filaments, and form tough, resistant like-substance such as skin, nails, and feathers is called as keratinizetion.
Hope it helps!
