Answer:

Renal dialysis is a process of purification of blood in pathological conditions like Renal Failure.

The basic principle of this technique is to take out blood from the body , mix it with an anticoagulant, purify the blood , remove the anticoagulant and return the purified blood into the body.

The box in which the blood is taken is called the Dialysis box. The main feature of this box is that :

In this box , blood is passed through pipes (having permeable membranes). Now all the required constituents like proteins , carbohydrates and lipids remain in the blood.

Only Nitrogenous Waste materials like Hippuric Acid, Uric acid, Urea are passed from blood into the chamber via the permeable pipes.

This is how Dialysis occurs.

Explanation:

The kidneys filter your blood by removing waste and excess fluid from your body. This waste is sent to the bladder to be eliminated when you urinate.

Dialysis performs the function of the kidneys if they’ve failed. According to the National Kidney Foundation, end-stage kidney failure occurs when the kidneys are performing at only 10 to 15 percent of their normal function.

Dialysis is a treatment that filters and purifies the blood using a machine. This helps keep your fluids and electrolytes in balance when the kidneys can’t do their job.
