1.Forests
2.Barren land,Arid and desert areas
3.Miscellany trees and crops,pasture and grazing lands
4.Cultureable waste land
5.Other than current fallow and current fallow land
6.Gross cropped Area
Since independence there has been decrease in forests area in our country Due to:
1.Urbanization
2.Increasing population leads To increase in cultivated area which leads to records
3.Construction of Dams,roadways,railways,etc.4.Overgrazing
