large intestine is wider than small intestine.It is about 1.5-1.8m long and 6cm wide.It lies in the abdominal cavity.It is divided into caesium ,colon and rectum.
Functions-
absorption of water from the food
secretion of mucus
egestion of undigested waste matter.
