Explanation:
- Law of multiple proportions state that of two elements form more than one compound then the ratios of masses of the second element which combine with a fixed mass of the first element will always be ratios of small whole numbers.
- Law of definite proportions states that a chemical compound will always have the same proportions or amount of each element by weight. For example 50 gram sample ofcarbon monoxide will have 2.25g of carbon and 28.5 g of oxygen.
- Gay lussac's law states that the pressure of a given mass of gas varies directly with the kelvin temperature when the volume remains constant.
- Law of gaseous volumes states that the ration between the volumes of gaseous reactants and products can be expressed in simple whole numbers.
