The left hand thumb rule also known as Fleming's left hand rule is used for the identification of the direction of the magnetic field, and motion created by it and all fingers should be perpendicular (90°angle) to each other .

In this rule your thumb shows the direction of motion , Forefinger shows the direction of magnetic field when we place your middle finger in the direction of current.
