there is a legal protection to consumers because in some cases they can exploited by the shopkeeper show in such cases there is legal protection which is provided to the consumer so that they can do something to protect themselves so that they would not be exploited by the shopkeeper .
for example : if we take I think of rupees 99 and we give 100 rupees to the the shopkeeper and he give us a toffee in case of giving us 1 rupees it is also a exploitation.
