They usually survived in Deccan plateau of India.The Gallas belong to Karnataka,Andhra pradesh the kurumas and kurubas.They were mainly cattle keepers whereas Kurumas and Kurubas mainly reared sheeps and goats and sold woven blankets.The traditional occupation of Kurubas was cattle keeping and farming and they belong to Hindu castes.They also followed a seasonal mode of survival where in dry season they moved to Coastal track,and usually left when rain comes.
