Answer:

1) Lightning: It is a phenomenon which occurs when two oppositely charged clouds come close to each other. When this happens, some negative charges and positive charges jump from both the clouds. This jumping causes an electrical discharge (electrical energy) on the sky which is exhibited by light energy.

This is how a lightning occurs.

2) Charging by Rubbing: When two bodies are being rubbed, some electrons present on the surface of one object, gets transferred to the other object. On doing this for some time, we create a object having less number of electrons compared to the other. This causes a slight negative charge and positive charge differences between each other.

This method of charging objects with the help of friction / rubbing is called Charging by rubbing. The other name for this method is  "Charging by Friction".

3) Transfer of Charges: When a neutral atom is placed near a negatively charged body, some positive charge is lost and the neutral atom becomes negatively charged. This takes place due to the transfer of charges.

This is a process in which the electrons of a body either get transferred to a positive charged body or a neutral body (or) attract other electrons becoming more negatively charged. This process is generally called transfer of charges.
