Explain location structure and functions of endocrine glands

Here's ur answer.....

The major endocrine glands in our body are as follows :—

>> Thyroid Gland :–

1). Located in the neck region just in front of the trachea or windpipe.
2). The hormones secretes thyroxine. It regulates body temperature , growth , development of the body activities of the nervous system , metabolism .

>> Adrenal Gland :—

1). In our body two adrenal glands are two present one on top of each kidney.
2). It secrets adrenaline and noradrenaline which control emotions , fear , anger , blood pressure , heartbeats.

>> Pancreas :—

1). It is compound glands located in the abdominal region.
2). It secretes insulin which regulates blood sugar level .

>> Pituitary Gland :—

1). It is located just below the hypothalamus.
2). It secretes Growth hormones which control overall growth of the body , muscles , bones.

Some other endocrine glands are parathyroid gland , hypothalamus gland , thymus gland....
