London forces are one of the weakest forces. These forces are also known as induced -dipole- induced dipole Force of attraction or dispersion forces.

These kind of forces mostly exist in non-polar molecules such as Helium, neon, hydrogen etc.

As the electrons in it don't have fixed positions, so it doesn't remains Symmetrical and the centres of the negative and positive charges doesn't coincide. This is why these forces are also called as instantaneous dipole.

London forces are directly proportional to surface area whereas inversely proportional to molecular size.
