kaal baishaki ~ Violent thunderstorms in the Gangetic plains of India are locally known as Kal Baisakhi .
mango shower ~ the occurrence of pre-monsoon rainfall. Sometimes these rainsare referred to generically as 'Aprilrains' or 'Summer showers'. They are notable across much of South and Southeast Asia, including India, and Cambodia.
