Heya friend,
A cell has many cell organnels in it, which performs different functions in the cell. One such cell organnel is Lysosomes.
Lysosomes helps digesting the foreign substances entering the body, also it helps digesting worn out cells. They are able to do all this because they have powerful digestive enzymes which are able to break down organic material.
Lysosomes are also called suicidal bags of the cell because when the cell gets damaged, the lysosomes may gets burst an the enzymes digest their own cell.
And the lysosomes are membrane-bound sacs filled with digestive enzymes. These enzymes are made by RER.
Lysosomes are produces by golgi apparatus.
Hope it helps...!!
