Explain magnetic field and magnetic field lines , right hand thumb rule
Answers
Answer:
Right Hand Rule: Magnetic fields exert forces on moving charges. This force is one of the most basic known. The direction of the magnetic force on a moving charge is perpendicular to the plane formed by v and B and follows right hand rule–1 (RHR-1). The magnitude of the force is proportional to q, v, B, and the sine of the angle between v and B.
Magnetic Field and Magnetic Field Lines:
The region around the magnet or a wire where current is flowing within which it's influence can be felt by another magnet is called magnetic field, the curved or straight path along which unit north pole moves in a magnetic field is called magnetic field lines.
Right Hand Thumb Rule:
if the wire carrying current to be gripped with your right hand in such a way that the thumb points along the wire in the direction of the current. Then the direction of the fingers will give the direction of the magnetic field lines of force representing the magnetic field.
